no trees died for the making of these works

trash to treasure

We exclusively use salvaged hardwoods in the making of these works. No piece is too small, too cracked, or too old, as long as it's good hardwood we find a way to give it a new life. It's better for the planet and allows us to creatively use contrasting hardwoods in the designs.

material sources

We use a wide variety of different hardwoods collected from an array of sources. Any good hardwood that was otherwise on its way to the dump or destined for a fire somewhere, is on our radar. But here are a few of our most common sources:

-trees which blew over in a storm or had to be cut down to make way for construction

-broken hardwood furniture

-hardwood cabinetry from kitchen renovations

-leftover or reclaimed hardwood flooring

-hardwood from select types of pallets

-hardwood offcuts from scrap bins (at other studios, mills, etc)

and more.........

tree planting

We don't want to stop at just minimizing our environmental impact... we want to have a positive effect. So we have started a tree-planting donation program. At check-out you can choose to donate one dollar to the organization One Tree Planted which, you guessed it, will fund the planting of one tree in an area of need (globally), and we will match your donation (so that's two trees). Together we can make a difference!
